Major Milestones

  • We have planned and prepared over 100 Annual Financial Statements which are compliant with International Financial Reporting Standards; resulting in our client’s compliance with Companies Act and accounting principles.
  • Assessed and issued reports on design and effectiveness of internal controls systems which translated into compliance and resource management by our clients;
  • Consulted and advised on Income tax returns for corporate and individuals which resulted in our clients complying with tax laws.
  • Consulted and handled well crafted and successful applications for SARS debt payments arrangements on behalf of our clients; which resulted in cash flow management and tax compliance of our clients.
  • Applied for and achieved 100% results on SARS debt write offs/ compromised agreements for our clients in accordance with Income Tax Act 58 of 1962 as amended and Tax Administration Act; 28 of 2011; which resulted in our client’s tax compliance and SARS receiving money.
  • Achieved SAIPA Training Centre accreditation; which gives us an opportunity to train Professional Accountants.

Director: Thabang Andrew Lekoloane

Thabang is an entrepreneur and experienced Chartered Accountant with 15 years of solid and diverse experience in private and public sectors. He is highly skilled in financial reporting (IFRS and GRAP standards), tax, governance, risk, external &internal audit, training, project management and audit committees functioning.

When it comes to projects management, he has managed accounting; tax and assurance projects of varied sizes; which culminated in achievement of targets within the agreed timelines with the clients. He also manages a SAIPA accredited training programme to ensure that Malesh CA complies with SAIPA processes and that trainees are given exposure to accounting; tax; risk management and assurance disciplines.

Thabang has an invaluable knowledge and working experience of Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), Municipal Finance Management Act (MFMA), Municipal Standard Chart of Accounts (MSCOA) Regulation, Supply Chain Management (SCM) Regulation and other key public sector financial management prescripts, necessary to contribute to public sector institutions’ compliance; sound financial management; good governance and accelerated service delivery.

As an accredited as a facilitator for both the MSCOA and Municipal Finance Management courses; by CIGFARO and National Treasury respectively ; he has extensive experience in facilitating and assessing tailored and practical trainings in various municipalities.

He has vast experience as an audit committee practitioner in the municipal sector; which has contributed towards improvement of good financial management practices; compliance with key laws and regulations; governance and unqualified audit opinions. Among his notable achievements in the sector; as the Chairperson of audit committee in Lephalale Local Municipality, through the committee’s focused and systematic financial statements review strategy; the municipality improved its audit outcome from qualified to unqualified with findings and further managed to sustain unqualified audit outcome in 2020/21 and 2021/22 and 2022/23 financial years; while also reducing number of audit queries significantly.
